Today is the day......

First Christmas Cookies this year Ginger Bread- of course I have a weakness for it!
My "perfect" tree

Our Thanksgiving table.....
Bella thinking" what do I want for Christmas"

Bella and her new earring bling.....

I start decorating for Christmas, I have let the tree "settle", Yes I know, I support "go green", but I had to do it, I had to have a real tree this year. I went out, like millions of others and bought a cut tree.... I am so happy with her. 7.5 foot of Christmas tree glory. She is a beautiful Frazier Fur, She is just perfect with all her imperfections..... I'll be placing pictures up of her as I go so that you all can enjoy it with me. I have some warm Ginger Bread Boys, I just popped out of the oven and a cup of coffee if you'd like, so come on lets decorate......
My Family and I had the most perfect Thanksgiving. It was filled with love and family and even a few friends here and there.
Georg and I were as giddy as 2 young love birds just starting out on life's journey, we laughed and smiled all weekend.

Life at our home was full for the weekend, our oldest Daughter was here with her Boy Friend . It was wonderful having my big girl home. I can't wait until she moves up here for good.
Of course the star of any family show now, is Miss Bella, She definitely makes life sweeter. She got her ears pierced this weekend and what a cutie! She is in the Hospital as I write this getting an operation so that her eyes will no longer cross.... Wish us luck that things go smooth and she will still be the sweetheart we all know and love....
Will, is single again- no Girlfriend- so he was happy and even a bit pleasant, LOL.... What a shocker... NO drama!
Georg and I did something this year that we have NEVER done together in 19 years of marriage, we went Christmas shopping on Black Friday! That was a real experience... We got a really great start on Christmas gift buying and even got the tree!
I will be catering the cookies and desserts at a company Christmas party December 7th. I did it last year and I got so much business from it, say a little chant or something that I get the business this year too, it helps!
I can't complain about anything in my life right now, I am so thankful for my Family, for my Friends and for my Blogging Friends also, you guys are incredible, writing me little notes to say you missed me or asking if I am still around, I feel loved! I hope EVERYONE has something , no matter how small, to feel thankful for, It makes life feel worth living! I can honestly say that my life is grand.......
Merry Christmas!
Peace!

Hmmm, where to start. Ok, first, bless baby Bella, she is in my thoughts and prayers.

Next. Cookies. I can smell them from here. Cowboy cookies are my favorite, but I shant be baking any as I am bursting out my jeans. If I suffer, they all suffer. No cookies for us. LOL.

C- I love that tree. I'm jealous. If it goes missing, I'll leave you a ransom note. =)

4- I wish you many blessings from your catering expedition, that you may have more cookies to bake than you can shake a stick at. Amen.

Take care, lil mama!

It sounds like you got a fabulous start to the holiday season. I know what you mean about a fresh cut tree--- there's nothing quite like it. 7.5... holy mac that's big haha! I noticed your gingerbread had holes, do you string them around the tree? They look too delicious not to eat ;).

I hope little Bella's surgery goes well!

If I show up for Christmas dinner don't be alarmed but I'm thinking I'd pretty much walk to your house all the way from Canada to eat some of your yummy cooking!! LoL

I used to do all these things. That was back when I had a houseful of people (kids). Now I guess I'll just have to snitch a few of your cookies and run away... :)
