I'm back....

I think I need a vacation from my vacation! I'm tired and have to get things settled here so Blogging will be light over the next week. I have lots to tell you and will get to it as soon as possible!

I had a great time, I also had a bad time, I guess it depends on how you look at it. Being around my Family reminds me of why I love them, but also why I'm glad I live on the other side of the state.... I had great times with one of my Brothers, he's been clean for 18 months now and for the very first time, he actually talked and kept it real. I think of all the things about this trip that I think were good, he was at the top of it!
I would like to say thank you to all who left notes for me and wrote me emails, you are just as important to me as my family... I will be back another day to make you laugh, think, maybe even cry.... Hugs to all....

Wow 2007 is at a close and a new baby year is at our door steps.....
What are you wishing for in the new year? I myself, seem to be pretty set up for a great 2008. The past year has been really wonderful and things have progressed into the comfort zone I always dreamed of as a young woman. My Husband, Georg is a hard worker and a serious provider, he has always kept his side of the bargain when it came to providing for our family. I would like to start saving now, we spend a lot of money on things for everyone, but with my health not being as good as it could be and Georg's the same at times, we need to save for our future. So thats one thing I would like to get serious about this year!
Another thing is I would like to write a cook book, one of my personal Family recipes and our holiday traditions, I have always had a flair with decorating and baking so I would like to write it down for my future generations.
I would like to help make the earth better for future generations, trust me it can't hurt! I would like to make people smile when they think of me.....
I hope that each of you has the best new year and that ALL your dreams and wishes come true in 2008!
I think you are such a wonderful set of Bloggers and even consider you my Friends.....
I will be back in the new year- stronger, more consistent and hopefully I'll have a lot more to Blog about. This has been the most incredible year ever and all of you can thank your selves for making it so good for me!!!

This year was perfect, Everyone was happy, everyone got at least 1 if not more of the things they asked Santa for.... I got so much from everyone that I was totally over whelmed by it!
Lets say this, my kitchen is red!
I have to say that this isn't how everyone does Christmas but at Sugar Queen's house this IS how we do Christmas....
There is a heck of a lot of photos on this post but you know I just could not explain to you what our Christmas was like without them....
I am not bragging, I am just so happy we are lucky to have this kind of Christmas, We shared our good fortune this year, with 3 Families they had great Christmas's too, I sure hope every one gave a little or a lot back to their communities, its always such a wonderful thing to do....
So all in all Christmas WAS Merry!

What Thanksgiving means to me....

Mel from Attitude - The Ultimate Power awarded me with this. Since it's almost time for one of the most important holidays there is in the year for us Americans, I think It's important to let the ones we are thankful most for know it, I thought what it means to have a Friend as special as Mel and also just how his Blog has affected me.... Mel is really a sweet guy who works out every detail of a project down to very last letter, now to some that may seem like a silly thing to be thankful for but I think its a good trait to have. I'm also thankful I met Mel and his wonderful and thought provoking Blog, He uplifts you with the positive thinking attitude he has. Happy Birthday to "ME"

Me, The Sugar Queen, Judy to most, Celebrates another year older and lots of Love...... Thank You everyone for making me feel so utterly special on my day!



I wanted to blog about my wonderful Birthday this year, It was special to say the least! I thought that no one would remember and so I gently reminded all of my Family, Friends, Co- Workers and YOU, Yes I even reminded YOU, My fellow Bloggers, by placing a birthday count down.... I must say that I was not let down by so many Friends and Family. You let me know how Special me and my day was by giving me some of the best and most creative gifts I have ever been given.
I would like to take you on a trip down "Judy's 49TH. Birthday", When I was just about to turn 49 and I was thinking back to just 10 short years ago and I was turning 40, I thought that it would be the bitter end of my youth, But as usual I was wrong, turning the road into my 40's has been at the very least a wild road trip including some of the most beautiful sights I have even saw, including making new friends, celebrating the births and mourning the losses, of Family and Friends, Making new friends and strengthening old friendships..... Learning that I have a powerful voice than not just me hears..... Learning I am a strong being and I can handle more than the average person...... I have learned that getting older doesn't mean you have to buy support hose and depends....( although if ya need `em, wear `em with pride, you've earned it!) It means I can slide into my comfort zone where behaving and making a name for myself is optional, after all I'm middle aged (almost) and as in youth, being over 45 can excuse things too.... I can laugh now at the silly past and cry while watching my boobs droop to a middle age drag... I can say hey: Is that Clairol number 501 (totally made up number) Burgundy(real color) for all woman over 45 ? (personally, I think it's really purple, I also think if I was 15 it would look cool but at 49 it ages me!) So friends and fellow Bloggers this post is for you, It's to show you what a special day you helped give me! So here I will show you , my loyal and kind readers some of the creative BUT very special gifts you have given me.....This Rose is as perfect a rose as I ever saw, It came to me from a new but very Dear Friend Debey, she said this to me in a sweet E-mail:

Peace!!!This was the cutest thing I saw all day!I went fishing with my Hunny on the morn of my Birthday and I was good luck!I collect Cookie jars and Hens......My Husband gave me a Fuji S700 for my Birthday, I LOVE it!!! I can really snap off the pictures for my Blog now!The cake(MY cake) was a cheese cake, Caramel Apple Swirl with whipped Cream Frosting, It WAS good!
