An update on, well ... me

If you've been reading my Blog you know that I have been having some health issues. I went to the Doctor and she had some tests done, I have high cholesterol [glad I love oatmeal], high blood sugar, high blood pressure and my thyroid isn't working correctly [I tried to tell them this, because I have the symptoms of thyroid problems, but she wouldn't listen!] I had to go back yesterday and let the Vampires draw more blood tests on it, the bitch and I mean *bitch* couldn't find my vein so she thought she would dig around in my arm, trust me I am not gentle when they do this, so I told her if she couldn't do it without hurting me, find someone else because I am about to go the *f word off on you!. I had a brain scan a week ago and have a appointment with a eye specialist Tuesday. I also have been having some leg cramps that I assure you, you wouldn't want! I am falling apart after just 49 short years and I am scared, scared that I wont be around to watch my beautiful Grand Daughter Bella grow up, scared I will die a painful and miserable death, scared I wont be able to do all the things I still have left to do. I have never once left this country and I have just started getting my passport done, well as soon as Flint Michigan will send my certified birth record to me!. I always thought that I would be healthy except for the smoking and the sugar... I was wrong, I have C O P D, with a little of all the different problems. I have to quit smoking, quit eating sugar, fat and well just about every thing I have ate for the past 49 years!
This is going to be hard to do and in the words of *Ming Ming* on wonder pets [ a kids show I watch with Bella] "This is serious!"

There has been a struggle blending back as a family structure here between me and Georg, I like the way I do things and he likes the way he does things.... It's hard for 2 strong minded people to be the leader with a follower, when both want the other to follow.... We will work it out just in time for him to go to the Dominican Republic, I'm sure!

We went to Saint Augustine yesterday. Some of the pictures I took, Some not. Some are from a trip there a few years ago, things don't change there much, I just forgot my camera.
Georg at Old Fort
Georg always takes a good picture, I, on the other hand look 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide! LOL

The Grist mill, What is a grist mill? : It's a mill that grinds grain.

We finally went into the oldest wooden school house in America and even got a diploma! Ha Ha!

This is the neatest old drug store! I love snooping around in it!

Look how worn the stairs are, this is from people using them.

If there's one thing I love, it's old churches, I don't care what denomination they are I just love them!Cathedral Basilica

OK so you have traveled to Lovely old Saint Augustine with me, I hope you enjoyed looking at the fun we had. It was hot as hell yesterday but we had lots of fun.

Remember what I say:
Come on now Feel them!

I always have fun telling you about my life, I know for some it's not important, but for me it's life changing. So until next time:
Everyone NEEDS a little Sugar!

Up all night, sleep all day...

Georg and Will are home!
Today he goes and gets a pass port, wah hoo! I'm not happy about it but whats a girl to do. He will more than likely be going to the Dominican Republic....
He brought me a little gift! A brand new vacuum cleaner,, now some of you girls may think this isn't a very romantacle gift, but for me it signifies our ever lasting love together.... HA! really it is just the bomb! I love it and think a hundred roses wouldn't be half as great a gift!
We are going on a short holiday next weekend and that I guess would be more romantic. I'm secretly hoping we go to historic Savannah Georgia~~ I'm willing to wait in line for Paula Deens Lady and Sons!

Last night we went to a concert, Skid row and Slaughter at the Daytona Pavilion.
Skid Row...

Slaughter....

It was fun but I don't have the standing on concrete feet I used to! You should have been there, lots of 35 and over were there!
As Georg says for you guys"Milfs" there... I didn't wanna break his bubble but there were lots of granny's with wrinkles too... Oh well I guess you'd have to be there!
The next concert we're going to is Buck Cherry!!! I'm stoked for sure on this one... OK not for the virgin ears but my favorite song is "Crazy Bitch"
Buck Cherry.... {language]

What a ride! I guess music tastes are up to the individual, I love music, even if its loud, racy and full of things others think is "too much".
Well today is full of surprises, go find one! and be careful its Friday the 13!!!
Until we meet again....
pourin' some sugar on you!

Doin it Groupie style....

~The Band Meme~
I was tagged by my Bra-Delicious Friend Olga to do the Band Meme... "Edited" I don't know who started it and I'm not searching- Doesn't that sound lazy of me, I'm sure someone will sport me a few words and say who the wise person is that created it.... Mimi of Mimi writes has a cool scroll box with the Meme participants if you ask her nicely for it~~
It's pretty fun and uber easy~~
Here's the sugar on how to roll this one out:

The Band Meme
You are about to have your own band and create it's album cover!
Follow these directions to the letter.
It's fun and requires no thought at all.
Go to......
1.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the
title of your album.
3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw down and
make your band's album cover.
If you do this Meme, please leave me a comment
(I wanna see it!)...and of course, pass it along..
I had so much sticky sweet fun with this one,I'm oozing at my cracks with sugar...I won't tag you, as you all know this year is all about Meme freedom of choice so if ya wanna ,go ahead make my day a little sweeter and be the band.....

Thoughts from the desk of the Sugar Queen....

You know some times we have a little too much time on our hands and we think.... I do that a bit to much at times, but its just me so I never question it.
I was thinking this morning about things that have really made me take a second look.
I am the kind of person who likes to take pictures of things, strange photos, silly photos, heart warming photos...
So, today being Friday, I thought I'd give you a look back at my week of not so award winning Photos....

Georg is in the doghouse again, I don't know what he sees in this thing but he's in it allot!

The gold box in this photo has many sweet stories I need to Blog about.....

Ah Bella and her Grampy, he's in love, hook line and sinker with this one. I can't compete and I don't try....
There are times when you look at the one you love and you know right then why you bothered....
Ok this photo is one that I don't know how or why I took it but if you look hard enough you will see what the Dachshunds contributed this week ....
Let me say this, I don't use drugs and I don't drink, I'm just weird like that.
The giant ball of lights that are going to be untangled come hell or high water.....

My Husband sent me a love note, computer style and this is the song he said makes him think of us... what do you think, I cried.....

We are going to see Clay Walker and a few other Bands in a few weeks in Orlando, Florida. I can't wait

I have been with Georg for 20 years and the road has not always been easy for us, but we keep walking down the path.... I pray God gives us at least 30 more ...
Ok so It's Friday, I hope each of you has the BEST weekend ever.
Please come fuel my Blog here:

Peace!!

Happy Monday, Happy Everyday!!!

This makes me smile every time I see her do this look LOL.... She knows when the camera is about to take a picture and she HAMS it up!!!

The above photo is behind Georg's Dads house. In the water is, Manatees. I hate to say this because of the things you think when I say it, BUT it's the truth, the state wildlife people come out and do all sorts of testing and such. Its a love den for the manatees, a massive love fest takes place in this canal every year and babies are born and grow up here. They are very cute but it sorta grosses me out seeing that many in a wildlife orgy LOL LOL LOL

I'm back Y'all, I was down in South Florida for a few days and when I got back I realized I can't leave home for just a few days, even the ashtrays don't get emptied *sigh* I have no Half N Half for my Coffee, they put garbage bags on the concrete floor of my garage and that grosses me out!
I realize I promised to be nicer this year but for f sake cant they help me?????? Hello people......
I also realized......I have shit {I tried to spell this another way and spell check wanted it to be spelled correctly} loads of work to start this year out with, thats for sure! Georg and I have not been doing much lately as he's been in Alabama... The way the jobs are going, Georg will be out of town a lot now. The company has decided My Georg is the best Pile driver in all of the state of Florida, Psst. I could have told them that! The day I met Georg 20 some years ago thats what he did, He would climb the hammer and get it set to drive concrete piles in for huge Bridges... He was just a youngster then, now he's a pile master. * well *I am* bragging* So now that the Company has branched out these other states are seeing my Husbands capabilities and it's quite simple, they want him! He's looking at these possibilities this year for travel: Honduras, St Thomas* I want to go* Virgin Island, Bahamas* I want to go here too* back to Alabama, West Palm Beach, the sky is the limit for Georg this year. I am so envious of his skills... Of course, Not really, because I have skills of my own. But still with all the travels this year we are sure to miss each other here and there. Of course I am going to visit on some of the jobs if they last more than a few months!

I sat and thought yesterday how lucky I truly am, I have a great family, I have great friends..
I also thought about the fact that this year I will be 50 the reality sat in on that and I realized I will be half of 100, thats not a little kid anymore.... I will have to face things in the near future that I never want to.... I get very worried that I wont get to see Bella grow up or that I wont ever have more Grand Children. I am working on doing things for me, as soon as I get this house fixed back up I am starting to paint and quilt again! I am good at these things so why not get a move on!
*update* I checked in with my Christmas Families and they are doing well, one of the Husbands has a new job and they are moving out of the mission.... I can't say this enough, help me help others to get up and get on with life!!!
10$ 20$ 100$ 1000$ anything!
I think if every person voluntarily stopped to help another person there would be no need to have charity. Of course people have to WANT to help their fellow man and I can't force you to do this, so think about the other person always.....

Will you remember me everyday as I do you and FUEL my BLOG!!!!!!!
OK well this will have to do for today I am already yawning so I can imagine what y'all are doing LOL LOL~~

New Year’s Resolution, or Not

Sandee from Comedy Plus created the Graphic, isn't it wonderful!

This is a hot new Meme... You can be a huge part of it or not..... The choice is yours. I am tagging my entire Blog Roll. I hope at least some of you will reply. Let us hear from you , It's your New Years resolution in your words.... Hopefully you "all" will respond and tag others and this could be one of the best new years things happening!
Title:
New Year’s Resolution, or Not

*Start Copy Here*

When it comes to New Year’s Resolutions we seem to fall into four categories: 1) quite serious about them, 2) be flippant about them, 3) do it because we feel pressured to, or 4) do not do them. So, the purpose of this little game is to let us know which category you are in. Copy from “*Start Copy Here*” through “*End Copy Here*” and post it. Before "*End Copy Here*" tell us who you are, your site(s) (with link) and your New Year’s Resolution, or not.

Then tag as many others as you like, from one to your entire blog roll, your choice.

If you like, create an intro paragraph to your post that also acknowledges who tagged you.

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS:

Juliana – Juliana's Site - My New Year's resolutions are looking for a part time job, keep blogging, and learn to cook and bake.

Michelle - Rusin Roundup - 1. Learn to be happier and accept myself for who I am, 2. Is to lose about 25 lbs., and 3. Is to stop smoking.

Karen - Grow Rich Along With Me - My resolution for next year is to achieve $3K per month passive income by the end of 2008.

Mel - Attitude, the Ultimate Power & Complain Complain Complain - “I don’t need no stinking resolutions.” I never hold to them anyway so why frustrate myself by starting them now.

Sandee - Comedy Plus - I don't need no stinking resolutions either. Years and years ago I did them because everyone else did, but not once did I follow through. Why set yourself up for failure?

Lynda - lynda's loft - My resolution is to see resolve to that which needs resolution. Like Mel and Sandee, I feel that resolutions give us more stress, however, being a person who sets goals each year, isn't that the same thing as a resolution??? Goals vs. resolutions? Goals are more general and allow for more time to complete them, a resolution requires a mind-set and immediate action, which is not always feasible... Well, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it...

Amelia - Amel's Realm - This is a list of my New Year's Resolution:
1. Health: Continue exercising twice a week, eat enough veggies and fruit, have enough rest, take vitamin C regularly and women's multivitamin during my period.
2. Spiritual: Improve my Daily Bread reading routine and my prayer life and learn more from God's Word.
3. Financial: Continue to make money online (my goal is getting €100 per month at least), be more creative in writing posts, and save most of the money.
4. General Life: Continue to learn Finnish AND practice it as best and often as I can, try out more baking and cooking recipes, continue to maintain and share positive thoughts, continue to learn to control my thoughts, continue to learn to catch myself before I start complaining and count my blessings instead, continue to stop and cherish all the little moments in life that oftentimes go unnoticed, and continue to feed my inner child and last but not least, continue to ENJOY my life thoroughly.

Max - MAX - My New Year's resolutions are to dedicate more time to my friends; to finally be able to read "Der Spiegel" in German; to be calm when organizing my marriage; to go one last time to my favourite club and dance the night away; and continue to be happy!

Eric - Speedcat Hollydale - I love chicken. Problem is that I really never get to have enough chicken! My New Year's resolution is to enact "Chicken Tuesday". On this day I will eat only chicken, blog about chicken, and promote chickens all over the world. (hormone free) Join me, won't you?

Marzie - Mariuca & Mariuca's Perfume Gallery - My resolution for 2008 is to enjoy a healthier lifestyle and to expand my Perfume Collection.

Sindi- Life Is A Roller Coaster - My resolution is to complain less, pray more and be a little more thankful for what I have.

Judy - Sugar Queen's Dream - My New Year's resolution is:
To take better care of my health.
To eat better, well at least 3 meals a day, I'm lucky these days if I stop for one meal a day....
To help make the world a better place to live, I love the human race, but think there’s always room for change.
To be generous until it hurts.
To live each day as if it's my last.
To make a book of our personal family recipes and traditions for each of my 3 my children, so that the traditions and family cooking can be passed on in my family line long after I'm gone and finally.......
To help more with the local Human society, Animals like little kids can not fend for themselves so it's up to each of us to take care of our pets and to step in and care for all animals.....
I hope that through me I can encourage my Children to be better adults and in turn to raise the Children they have or will have, to be good people with good, sound & solid values.... Peace!

Adrian - First Time Dad - My New Year’s Resolution for 2008 is to be a better father…now I don’t usually make New Year's resolutions because I never keep them but this one I better keep! Happy New Year to one and all!

Colin - Life - New Years Resolution? No way...Better to achieve more throughout the year rather than pander to the whims of a one day 'wishful thought'

Mauro - 1 Million Love Messages - My resolution for next year are: 1. Change my job (maybe work online). I'm really unhappy in the actual one. 2. Dedicate more time to my family and girlfriend... maybe start to get ready for our wedding :-) 3. Work hard in 1 Million Love Messages and reach 2500 Love messages (or more) in the end of 2008.

MidgetManOfSteel - Mental Poo - To get out of dealing with people who I have no desire in helping at the job I’m doing…catch the eye of someone who can see that I can write and be funny…and get my own ticket to happiness from my humor….and a Ferrari. While I’m doing this, I resolve to get a Ferrari.

Stacy - My Thoughts - My New Year’s Resolution for 2008 - Is to be more understanding to my children and to other people, Not to curse at others while I am driving, try to eat right and exercise, try to volunteer in my community, and to believe more in my spiritual side.

Jason - DatCurious.com & DatMoney.com - Although, I normally don't do New Year's Resolutions (because I find it as an excuse to actually do something I should've already been doing), this year I will plan on giving back to the blogging community, especially my audience. I'm not sure how I will do it yet, but I definitely will.

Kesa - Little Aussie Cynic - My New Years Resolution is the standard..... to finally get off the smokes and to loose 8kg.... both which are possible just difficult.....Happy New Year to you and yours….Aussie

Ann - A Nice Place in the Sun - "To let the rest of my life begin as soon as possible."

*End Copy Here*

I tag the following Blogs:

Most people do not like Meme's so I will understand if you don't want to do it. I think this is a slightly more interesting Meme than most, so I hope you give it a whirl!
Happy New Year to you and your's, May 2008 be EVERYTHING you desire and more.....
Peace!

Wow 2007 is at a close and a new baby year is at our door steps.....
What are you wishing for in the new year? I myself, seem to be pretty set up for a great 2008. The past year has been really wonderful and things have progressed into the comfort zone I always dreamed of as a young woman. My Husband, Georg is a hard worker and a serious provider, he has always kept his side of the bargain when it came to providing for our family. I would like to start saving now, we spend a lot of money on things for everyone, but with my health not being as good as it could be and Georg's the same at times, we need to save for our future. So thats one thing I would like to get serious about this year!
Another thing is I would like to write a cook book, one of my personal Family recipes and our holiday traditions, I have always had a flair with decorating and baking so I would like to write it down for my future generations.
I would like to help make the earth better for future generations, trust me it can't hurt! I would like to make people smile when they think of me.....
I hope that each of you has the best new year and that ALL your dreams and wishes come true in 2008!
I think you are such a wonderful set of Bloggers and even consider you my Friends.....
I will be back in the new year- stronger, more consistent and hopefully I'll have a lot more to Blog about. This has been the most incredible year ever and all of you can thank your selves for making it so good for me!!!
Hugs!!
Happy 2008 to you!
