If it were up to them we'd have no trees and a house and business on every inch of ground in this place!!!)

If you are looking for a place that has that "you're our best friend" atmosphere, You have found it. The food only gets better each time I go there. I have tried many of the items they offer on their menu and I recommend any and all. My personal favorite is the Steak Giambotto. It is an Angus Prime NY Strip marinated and smothered in peppers, onions and Italian Sausage Drowning in a sauce that makes my mouth water.

Their steaks are all Angus Beef, so don't worry about them dentures falling out.I also had their Cheddar and Broccoli soup , MMmmmmm. I love the place and will definitely go back!

The owners of High Tides at Snack Jacks opened this instant hot spot. Gail and Ted bought the old Wings restaurant and expanded it with there remodeling project. The inside carries a vacationer theme. The have a large variety of tap and bottled beer, On the menu there's quite a bit to offer. I went there Last with my Husband Georg.We ordered the Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup to start, It's "Yummy Cheddar Cheese with a splash of beer served in a bread bowl." The soup was excellent,Although I thought there was too much bowl and not enough soup. The cheese was a strong cheddar and you could taste just a hint of beer. I recommend it highly. We followed this up with 2 dozen Wings. We had the mild ones. They are wonderful , I love the way they are fried with NO batter. For all of you Buffalo wing eaters who enjoy the burn, It doesn't happen. Their Dynamite is the hottest and it doesn't leave your mouth smoking.

What can I say but this : they have the best Flounder sandwich I have ever had , It comes loaded with flounder, I'm talking 5-6 nice size pieces, Lettuce , tomato , pickles and mayonnaise. You can order Slaw, Fries , Breaded Mushrooms and many other things to go along side. They also have hamburgers , Steak cheese, Hot Dogs, BBQ and a host of other stuff.
The dinning is open and not very big, I'm telling you this place is the size of about two of my bedrooms, There's picnic tables and there's not much of a view. Unless you like looking at the Old Court House and Police cars LOL, BUT, this IS a dive so what can I say. We always take it home because I just don't like sitting on well used picnic tables ... There's no waitress's or curb service, You walk up to one window, order & pay, slide left to the pick up window.
But I still think its one of the best Dives I've ever been to .

If we get Pizza and Calzone at a take out , It's here. They have the best, but I think they also have New York prices....
The Pizza are still hand tossed and they even make a very nice XXL size Pizza.

If you want a great Breakfast and who doesn't , go to Cracker Barrel . I love every thing they make , I feel you get good size portions and the people are wonderful, Well at our Local Cracker Barrel .
If you love Country Fried Steak they have some really great stuff. The Mashed Potatoes are just wonderful. and you always get Biscuits and Corn Bread with your dinner OR Breakfast.
Plus an added bonus here if your into country home decorations or that special country themed gift, you can shop before , during and after you eat LOL.
