I need to scream.....

(^#(^(&!@)&!+&^#%##%(#&*+*_%&%*&(*&_()_)(&^%&$^%##%^%&*^)(&(&_)(*+)(&(^*&%&^$*$
OK, so that's out of my system.......
Males should not wear braids in their hair, period.
Um, I'm sorry if some of you think this is OK, but I don't. I think a grown male should not do it. NO matter how I post this, it will come off as I'm not nice or judging, but I have sat and watched my Daughter braid the dumb ass's (my pet name for him) hair for the past 4 hours and It's just plain stupid. I think its OK if that is your culture and you grew up thinking it is OK, but in my Family and his..... we save the braids for Girls or when appropriate... He works in a field where this just isn't correct, even if it is construction. My problem is I think his hair style leaves lots to be desired even when there are no braids, so now that he has let her do this, I think he's just plain stupid and I think they did it because they know it's gonna piss her Dad off, He's the boss at work and boy oh boy when he sees this he will shit bricks.....
OK, so I know I'm gonna get hate mail, But.......

I love the way you said more than what you said. However, I happen to agree with you.

BTW, I wanted you to see my response to your comment on my burn-out post:

Judy,
As I was reading your comments I found myself saying, out loud, "Yes, Yes, Yes." You have a very healthy perspective, but like a lot of us you had to step back and take an objective look at the whole blogging experience. I had a feeling that your response was going to be like this. I know that I don't have to visit your site daily for you to know how deeply I feel for you. Your attitude when it comes to awards is GREAT!!!!!!! "I except awards with the thinking that if "you" give me a gift, it is mine to do with as I please, I have never given a gift in my life, that I've put stipulations on, EVER, period." It was at this point that I began to say YES out loud.

To be quite honest, with the recent burn-outs, I became concerned that others may follow suit. This post was a type of reality check to make sure that the people I care about are all OK. This should also be a warning to new bloggers as to the possible danger signs.

It's not that, It makes me angry because they do this to piss me off. I guess I need to learn to live and let live, BUT they are living in MY house so I guess I get to name the LAWS! LOL
Oh well hugs Dar!

Thank You Mel LOL I have this problem with my Daughters choices in men , She tries to deify her Father and me and always picks the ones with as much heavy baggage as she carries.... *Sigh*
BTW I subscribe to the comments when I can, Since I read my E-mails all day, this helps me keep up with things. You are by far, one of the sweetest people I have met while Blogging, I think your attitude is one I admire and it settles well with mine. I just think you're grand Mel!

No, I agree. Plus, it's only worse when something is done just to annoy others.... especially when it's done only to annoy others.

I agree.. and I think they should also wear pants that don't hang down past their butt!

You're in the (belated) vote for the caption contest. :)

Daszzle, It is a fool that lives to annoy others ! He will get his, I would rid myself of him BUT my Grand Daughter is a baby and can't take care of herself....

Hey girl.

You're 100% right. Catch him sleeping, get the clippers...

Two words for ya: High & tight.

A nice little military doooo would certainly slam the brakes on the braids.

My youngest daughter's boyfriend wore a scary mohawk for a long time. I was certainly glad to see it go. He's such a cutie but the cuteness was covered up.

Diva, I would except I can't look at him without wanting to slip with the scissors! LOL LOL
Hugs Girl!

I read this and tried to picture myself with braids, and I'm not sure if it would be funny or scary (maybe both). Of course, I would have to grow some more hair to accomplish this!
