Award in, Award out........Award time...

I would like to say thank you to 2 very special people, who gave me an award this week, as a matter of fact, the same award!
Rotus, whom I adore, gave me this super duper award called "One in a Million Friend" award, Thank YOU Rotus!
Auntie Dar also gave me this fabulous award! The both of you are 2 special people, people I call Friend! I don't know who started the award, you know who's responsible so I can't link back to them but I will say this anytime you create an award that has "One in a million Friend" in its wording, It is special! So my hats off to the both of you for giving me this wonderful award and here's a little Sugar Rush for you to pass out yourself.
The both of you are by far the best friends a girl could have!

On to my Art.....
This is a picture I did for a friend.....

I love all the Seasons of the year and the holidays that come with those seasons so I did this:
I paint Memory boxes for Mothers and Fathers that lose their babies at birth, for whatever reason. This is some of the Memory Boxes I have painted:
I painted the following for a Friend at Christmas.

The following is a picture I felt driven to paint, I sketched the picture on canvas and I mixed the paints from sight. I used acrylics as my medium. I found the picture in a local magazine. I am very proud of this piece.




I have loved art as long as I can remember, I draw, paint, sew, take pictures, bake. I consider all of these things art in some way, shape or form. A really sweet Friend, Sylvie D, suggested that I show off this picture I painted in a post all of it's own so, I thought about it and figured I'd show you a little of my paintings so that you can see a different side of me, rather than only the baking I do. Thanks for taking the time to look....

OK, I know that yesterday I came off as a man eater.... Well I would like to say I'm sorry guys, I do love men, who else would take my trash out....
Really I adore you guys.....
I adore my Darling Husband, BUT at times, I just get sick of the things that makes him human.... I guess they make me human too, so I should try and be a better person by accepting his ways....
OK, now that thats out of the way and I sure hope I didn't lose readers because I jumped off the deep end, I'll start a new day with YOU, My sweet and wonderful readers that somehow think I'm this wonderful person who always gushes with sugary sweet thoughts. For the most, I am...

Earlier this week something happened to re-adjust the way I think, when It comes to others feelings. I neglected one of my friends, It was an honest mistake, but still it happened. I didn't realize my responsibilities in this friendship. I would like to say that as friends we have a deeper responsibility than just calling someone a friend, You owe it to that person to cheer them on when they are down, you have to make them smile when they frown, you have to leave a friggin comment when they hand you an award or award[s]. You have to look past the surface and dig deeper to see if your friend needs special attention, I didn't do that and I jeopardized our relationship. I'm sorry for that, I woulds never stumble a friend like that on purpose. As friends we should Always look to our friends and see if they need us. I personally would never want to hurt anyone, especially a person I consider a dear friend. Jackie, I'm sorry ..... Now on to other things before I break out in hives again....
Jackie gave me some awards last week, a couple I have been given but hell we can always use more awards, right? and some I haven't received...


Jackie, Thank you for all of these awards, I love them! I will at some other time pass them along....
I would like to pass this award to Jackie, I want her to know that no matter what, I AM always thinking of her even when I'm not right there.....

The sweet little cat and dog badge and the juicy heart are from my dear sweet friend Daszzle, Isn't she a doll for thinking of me! I think you are so wonderful and your blog isn't half bad either! Go visit her at Something to smile about!
Miss Bella has to wear an eye patch everyday for 3 hours. Thats not an easy thing to do with a 10 month old. I hope it helps because she gets very quiet and very pissed as she tries to rip it off! Someone sent this little badge to me and I can't remember whom......
But then she smiles like the picture above and your heart melts. LoL
I have to edit here, I hate when I make major mistakes BUT I am human, Tish, from the Kat House gave me the I'm a little nutty award and the BFF award.... I'm just as much a fan of Tish as I am of Christy Z.. I'm sorry Tish....
I've got a few awards lately, I know these are not all of them, but let me catch up, will ya! LOL. Tish awarded me with the "I'm a little nutty"(isn't that the truth) and the "BFF" awards, Tish is such a wonderful person and always thinks of me when handing out such wonderful prizes! I love her so much as a friend and I just can't imagine my Blog being such a warm and inviting place, filled with such pretty and meaningful awards, without thinking of her... She (YOU Tish) RULE!

Be the Blog award....

I received yet another Award....
I remember back when I started Blogging, I didn't even have a clue of where this was gonna take me. I thought of it as a way to network my cakes and the fun things I cook. After some time and thought, I decided it [my blog] should take another form, So I started Blogging about my life..... I started thinking about whether my life, past or present, is worth reading about, I mean another persons life just wouldn't seem to be something worth reading, But By golly, a heck of a lot of you, want to do just that, read about my life.... So my Blog has taken off in ways I never thought possible, I have won loads of awards , I have been given reviews and they were good. I guess reading the everyday and the not so everyday stuff about me is interesting...
So I guess what I'm saying, is that this award is really perfect for me, because you really have to
BE* THE* BLOG in order for the blog to have an effect on people.
My dear Friend Jackie at The Painted Veil awarded me with this, I think Jackie is probably one of a small hand full of people that saw something worth taking a second look at in my Blog and continued to return even when I got sluggish and veg out. I always feel so wonderful when another Blogger gives me an award. I feel it's a real compliment coming from a Blogger that commands my respect and Blog love, Such as the one I got today. This one really blows my mind! I received "The Mariuca Super Star Award" from Christy at Christy's Coffee Break, She says the award came to her from, "Mariuca, at Wishing Upon A Star" and that means it's really special. Mariuca has 2 very special Blogs Just as special as She is!
So I just can't thank Christy enough! She is a real Sweet Girl who has always had such kind words for me and always given my eyes much wealth in reading her fine Blogs!
